Harmon Reeves

Harmon Reeves, English, 18th century. 4" wide scoop, antique 22K gold leaf over red, hand carved pearl and bar inner edge and twisted ribbon outer edge. This design is based on an antique from our collection and is named after the contemporary racing horse portraitist Richard Stone Reeves. The scoop moulding was originally built for the painter Lily Harmon, the wife of the legendary collector Joseph H. Hirschorn.
